About Arjun

I'm a 3rd-year Medical Student. Graduating from Brisbane Grammar School, I achieved an ATAR of 99.75 thanks to consistent 95+ subject scores. Recently, I also achieved a 99th percentile result on the UCAT, which, together with successful interviews, garnered medical offers from all over Australia and the UK. It is this, along with almost four years of tutoring experience, that has enabled me to be a successful tutor for high school subjects and medical interviews.

As a passionate educator, I'm someone who is passionate about making a difference in students' education by helping them achieve their goals. My students' needs always come first and I actively seek to adjust my teaching to each individual's unique needs.

When it comes to experience, it's what separates a good tutor from a great one. In my final year of school, I tutored middle school students and peers as a member of my school's Academic Support Committee. On top of this experience, I have acquired almost four years of private tutoring experience, which means I've developed a complete understanding of the needs of students undertaking high school and ATAR.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I adopt a structured method to learning, in which complex topics will be divided into smaller, manageable parts. For subjects like Chemistry, English and Biology, it's critical to break down broader concepts into smaller topics based on the criteria to enable success.

With the right help, tackling the ATAR is much less challenging than it may seem. As a tutor, I work with students to formulate a study plan that suits their learning methods, all while explaining usable strategies, distributing practice exams and reviewing assignments and classwork. This holistic method to teaching ensures students develop the understanding required to achieve their absolute best in each subject.

Lessons last between 1-2 hours and I teach all year levels and ages.
