About Buse
Hi! I’m a medical student with a degree in Biomedical Science and professional experience in NHS clinical research.
I’ve been tutoring since I was 16 and eventually worked as a full-time tutor for two years before moving into clinical research. I’ve taught students of all ages, from primary school to A-level, both individually and in groups, online and in person.
I genuinely enjoy teaching because I love seeing the moment when something that initially seemed difficult finally clicks. I also believe that good tutoring should leave students feeling more confident and independent, rather than feeling like they always need someone else to give them the answer.
I want to help students understand what they are learning, build the confidence to apply it, and develop the skills to approach exams calmly and effectively. Whether you’re struggling with a particular topic, preparing for an important exam, or simply want to push yourself further, I’ll tailor lessons to what you need and work with you to reach your goals.
I’m friendly, patient and encouraging, but I also believe in helping students take responsibility for their own progress, because ultimately, your goals, your work and your success belong to you.

Hello!
I’m a medical student with a Biomedical Science degree and professional experience working in NHS clinical research and clinical trials.
I have been tutoring since I was 16, initially helping family members and younger students, and later working as a full-time tutor for two years. I have taught students from primary school through to A-level, both 1-to-1 and in groups, online and in person. I now balance tutoring alongside studying Medicine.
My approach to tutoring
For me, tutoring is about much more than simply getting through the syllabus.
My aim is to help students develop understanding, confidence and independence, so that they can eventually take ownership of their own learning.
I focus on making sure students genuinely understand the content rather than simply memorising it. We then work on applying that knowledge effectively in exams — particularly understanding what a question is asking, how to structure an answer, and how to gain the marks available.
Ultimately, I want students to walk into their exams feeling prepared, confident and capable of tackling questions independently.
What I teach
I teach students from age 6 onwards, with experience in:

-GCSE Biology and Science
-GCSE Maths
-Secondary school subjects
-Primary school subjects
-Exam preparation and revision
-Study skills and independent learning
I am happy to work with students who need additional support and encouragement, as well as students who are aiming for the highest grades.
Lessons
Lessons are available online and can be 1–2 hours, depending on the student's age, needs and concentration. For 2-hour sessions, I include a 5–10 minute break.
I hold an Enhanced DBS certificate.
