About Luke
Hi I'm Luke and I study medicine at the University of Bristol. Teaching is a core part of medicine and is a skill that I will use throughout my career. I did both Maths and Chemistry A level and achieved an A* in Maths and an A in Chemistry. I teach my friend's younger brother Maths and have really enjoyed the process, and so I would love to help more people achieve the grades that they want.

I think Maths and Chemistry are both subjects where understanding concepts is extremely hard, but as soon as those concepts are grasped, it becomes a lot easier from there. Therefore I like to give a student a core understanding of a concept first before rushing into practice questions, so when they do come to these questions they have a good idea of how to tackle them. Usually I'd do a lesson of 1 hour, but times can vary. I do medicine at Bristol University so have a very good understanding of Maths and Chemistry. I also teach a friend's brother Maths for GCSE and have seen his grades improve drastically. Lessons would be for GCSE level.
