About Haroon

I am a recent graduate from the University of Sheffield, MBChB, currently working in Yorkshire as a Foundation 2 Doctor. As a student, I graduated from 6th form with 3 A* and obtained offers from 3 different medical schools. I have been involved with teaching throughout medical school, having made a drive that is still used by hundreds of students today. I was a FY1 teaching representative for the University of Sheffield and taught the Final Year students on a weekly basis. I have graduated from a PG Certification in Medical Education, and have a real passion to educate the next generation of medics. If you’re looking for someone who is passionate about education and achieving excellence, all in a nurturing environment, I am your person!

Haroon is a highly intelligent individual who amasses knowledge not to only benefit himself or his peers but to also support and educate those who are striving to further their learning. He has always been a great teacher, taking the time and effort to convert unfamiliar avenues into a memorable teaching moment. I myself have had Haroon as a personal mentor and I can dearly say that a vast amount of where I am today is because of not only his educational support but also his kind words. If textbooks and lectures/classes seem daunting, he will find a way for you to enjoy. This is an educator for the masses.

It’s said if you do something you love you never work a day in your life. Not only is Haroon a stellar doctor, he is an exceptional human being and a wonderful teacher. He is patient, fun and super adaptable to cater for specific needs so no matter where you’re starting off in your medical journey you’ll always leave having learnt something valuable. Haroon’s clinical knowledge and experience so far as an F2 is a testament to how he genuinely enjoys helping others and explaining difficult concepts to people from different backgrounds and levels of experience. I would recommend him to anyone
