About Kira
Hi! I’m Kira—26 and based in Montréal. I hold a Bachelor of Education specializing in ESL with a minor in French Language. During university, I taught English across multiple elementary and secondary schools, and I also spent time in Japan teaching English. I LOVE talking to people and have a talent for helping others feel comfortable, which makes my lessons low-stress, conversational, and welcoming. I currently work at an education technology company, and I tutor because I can’t imagine not teaching. Whether you’re a student or an adult, I tailor sessions to your goals—homework support, job-interview preparation, or practical workplace communication—always with clear feedback and steady progress in mind.

I run low-stress, conversational English lessons where it’s safe to experiment and make mistakes! I blend real-life dialogue with targeted grammar instruction based on your goals. Lesson plans are fully customizable. I’ve lived in Québec for six years and have taught in elementary and high schools, as well as with adult learners. I can focus our sessions on homework support, job-interview preparation, or practical workplace vocabulary. I’m available for elementary, secondary, and adult students.
