About Sony

I am a passionate singing tutor with 9 years of experience in teaching and music practice. I teach singing to school and college students and help them discover their natural voice and musical abilities. My goal is to make learning singing simple, enjoyable, and meaningful for every student. In my classes, I focus on breathing techniques, pitch accuracy, vocal strength, and musical expression.

I believe that every student has the potential to sing well when they receive the right guidance and encouragement.

Over the years, I have helped many students grow from beginners into confident singers who perform in school events and college cultural programmes. Watching students gain confidence and enjoy singing is one of the greatest rewards in my teaching journey. I always try to create a positive and comfortable learning environment where students feel motivated to practice and improve.

I also encourage students to explore different styles of music so they can find what suits their voice best. Teaching singing allows me to share my love for music while helping students develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching singing is based on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and organised time management. I believe that learning singing should be both enjoyable and structured to help students grow technically and artistically.

I start by assessing the student’s voice, range, and musical preferences to design lessons that match their goals and level. Lessons focus on foundational skills such as breathing techniques, posture, vocal warm-ups, pitch accuracy, tone, and articulation.

Creativity is emphasised in every session because singing is an expressive art. I encourage students to interpret songs in their own way, experiment with different styles, and explore emotions through music. Understanding each student’s learning pace and challenges allows me to provide supportive guidance and constructive feedback.

Time management ensures that lessons include technical exercises, song practice, and performance coaching. Besides singing, I also teach rhythm exercises, music fundamentals, and stage confidence.
