About Vy
I am an experienced and dedicated debate coach with a strong competitive background at the international level. As a former national team member and coach at the National Academy of Debate and Public Speaking, I bring both high-level expertise and a structured, professional approach to my teaching.
My achievements include Top 7 Speaker at the Shanghai Debate Open, Top 3 Speaker at the Vietnam British Championships 2024, and finalist placements at major international tournaments. These experiences allow me to guide students in developing clear argumentation, strategic thinking, and confident delivery.
I focus on creating a supportive and disciplined learning environment where students can build both skill and confidence, whether they are beginners or preparing for top-level competitions.

I take a student-centred approach to debating, focusing on argument structure, critical thinking, and confident delivery. Lessons combine targeted drills, mock debates, and personalised feedback, and are typically 1 hour and 30 minutes, tailored to the student's needs. My lessons are suited to secondary school students hoping to enhance their public speaking and soft skills, as well as to compete in the high school circuit.
