About Finley
I am a second year computer science student at the University of Southampton, full of energy and enthusiasm for the subjects I teach.
I love to code, play football and other sports, and of course play Xbox.
I have tutored for around 5 years, am proficient in multiple programming languages, and have an A* in A-Level and GCSE mathematics.
I have also completed internships and worked as a trainee teacher in a school, so am quite well versed in teaching professionalism and conduct.

My lessons will be very interactive and well structured, as well as being enjoyable and fun, tailored to every type of learner.
I like to ensure you are having fun and enjoying what I am teaching, as I believe it makes it easier to learn, as well as being efficient in what we do learn.
I view teaching as a learning experience for me as well, which I believe makes me a better teacher.
I will often go through fun activities, quizzes, and bog-standard powerpoints to ensure you get the most out of what I am teaching.
A typical lesson would be at a minimum, an hour ideally, but I am flexible.
I have tutored for many years, as a year 6 tutoring year 3s, or a GCSE student tutoring years 7-9, and as an A-Level student tutoring other A-Level students and years 7-11, as well as in university.
My lessons can be for anyone up to A-Level standard.
