About Seipati
Khotso! I’m Barbio, an English and confidence coach from Maseru, Lesotho.
Before teaching online, I worked for 3+ years as a Programs Director at a mental health NGO. My role was training staff and community members to speak up with confidence during workshops, interviews, and public meetings.
That’s where I learned something important: Most people don’t have an “English problem”. They have a confidence problem. Fear makes us forget words, speak too fast, or stay silent.
So I left the NGO world to do 1-on-1 coaching. I now use those same trauma-informed, patient methods to help teens and adults speak English naturally.
What makes me different:
- Real leadership background: I’ve trained real people, not just studied theory
- I understand anxiety: I create a safe space where mistakes are normal and progress feels good
- I focus on speaking, not grammar drills: You’ll talk 80% of each lesson
- I’m from Lesotho: I know what it’s like learning English as a second language
Outside of teaching:
I love music, hiking in the mountains, and chatting with people from different cultures. I’m online most evenings SAST because I teach students in Europe, the UK, and the US.
My promise to you:
