About Una
My experience with Excel began with the need to organize, analyze, and visualize data effectively, leading me to pursue a B.Sc in Information Technology. Over 8 years of teaching, I have helped learners develop technical proficiency, analytical reasoning, and confidence in applying Excel to diverse tasks and projects. I emphasize clarity, patience, and hands-on instruction. Many learners struggle when Excel is taught as disconnected functions. I use practical examples, interactive exercises, and stepwise explanations to demonstrate the logic behind formulas, functions, and tools. Encouraging experimentation and problem-solving is central to my teaching philosophy. Outside teaching, I remain engaged with Excel through professional projects, data analysis, and exploring automation and advanced features. These experiences enrich my lessons and provide contemporary relevance. Teaching Excel is deeply fulfilling because I witness learners gain both competence and confidence, enabling them to use this essential tool effectively in academic, professional, and personal contexts.

Lesson content is tailored to proficiency. Beginners focus on navigation, formatting, simple formulas, and basic data organization. Intermediate learners explore advanced functions, dynamic charts, data validation, and pivot tables. Advanced learners engage with macros, automation, scenario analysis, and complex modeling exercises. Step-by-step guidance and real-life examples reinforce understanding and skill mastery.
Excel lessons also enhance analytical thinking, organization, and efficiency.
