About Briar
My teaching approach for Excel is practical, student-centred, and easy to follow. I focus on creativity by presenting concepts in simple ways and using different methods to explain the same topic. Each lesson is structured but flexible, allowing me to adjust the pace based on the student’s understanding and learning goals. This helps students feel comfortable and confident while learning Excel.
I strongly believe in using real-life examples and case studies to teach Excel. Instead of only focusing on theory, I guide students through real college projects, datasets, and assignments. This helps them understand how Excel is actually used in academics and professional work. Students learn formulae, data analysis, and tools by applying them to realistic tasks.
I understand that every student learns differently, so I provide patient support and clear guidance at every step. Along with Excel, I can also teach related subjects such as data analysis and basic statistics. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment that leads to real skill development and long-term success.

I have over 7 years of experience teaching Microsoft Excel, with a strong focus on helping college students build confidence and practical skills. I specialise in Excel fundamentals, formulae, data analysis, charts, and working with real datasets. My goal is to help students not only pass exams but also use Excel effectively for projects, internships, and future careers. I welcome beginners as well as students who want to improve their advanced Excel skills.
My teaching style is clear, patient, and student-focused. I explain each topic step by step and make sure concepts are fully understood before moving ahead. I use real-life examples, case studies, and college-level projects so students can see how Excel is used in practical situations. I also adapt my lessons based on each student’s learning speed and academic needs.

Students work on real tasks during sessions, which helps them learn faster and retain concepts better. I create a supportive and friendly learning environment where questions are always encouraged.
