About Sandra
Therapeutic art sessions are thoughtfully guided in a safe, calm, and age-appropriate environment where children are encouraged to express themselves through creativity. Each lesson is structured yet flexible, allowing children to explore art at their own pace while feeling supported and respected. These sessions are not clinical art therapy and do not involve diagnosis or counseling. Instead, they use creative activities to promote relaxation, emotional awareness, focus, and confidence in a positive and encouraging setting. Instruction is delivered with professionalism, clear boundaries, and care for each child’s comfort level. The focus is on the creative process, not perfection—helping children feel confident, capable, and proud of their work.

Lessons focus on using art as a calming and creative outlet rather than formal instruction or therapy. Participants will explore painting, drawing, and mixed-media activities designed to encourage relaxation, self-expression, and creative confidence.
Each session emphasizes:
• Mindful art-making and slowing down
• Expressing emotions and ideas through color, shape, and texture
• Building confidence through gentle guidance and open-ended projects
• Stress relief and emotional awareness through creative routines
• Enjoying the process of creating without pressure or judgment
Projects are process-based, meaning there is no “right” or “wrong” outcome. The goal is to create a supportive, peaceful environment where individuals can unwind, explore creativity, and connect with their own artistic voice.
