About Carmela
"Do you often find that the nuance of natural conversation remains just out of reach during your daily interactions? I have spent 13 years teaching ESL to students who seek to bridge that gap with grace and precision.
My MMus Music Performance degree from Singapore Management University instilled a deep focus on listening and structured analysis that I now apply to language acquisition. My work centers on conversational fluency and building grammar foundations that support your growth.
I help students navigate TOEFL preparation and IELTS preparation by providing clear, consistent feedback on their writing skills. We also work on exam speaking practice and phrasal verbs to ensure you sound more like a native speaker.
I focus on accent softening and listening comprehension to refine your overall delivery. It is truly rewarding to see my students gain the confidence to express their thoughts clearly. I am happy to help you navigate these linguistic challenges with warmth and care."
