About Liam
I provide a free trial session to assess starting level for every new student. This initial meeting allows us to build a plan that fits your goals. We work on everything from chord transitions to reading sheet music.
My background at the Royal Academy of Music gives me a precise eye for detail. This is essential for mastering lead guitar or complex acoustic technique.
Grade exam prep is available if you want a formal path. It is truly rewarding. We will focus on improvising and soloing with real confidence.

Teaching guitar feels like a natural extension of my 11 years as a professional vocalist. Because I spent 13 years refining my own musicality, I understand the challenges of learning a new instrument. My classical training adds a unique perspective to how I approach blues and fingerpicking. Performance focused students often gravitate towards my style.
Advanced learners enjoy the depth I provide when explaining scales and modes. I have successfully guided 320 students through their musical hurdles. Adults find my perspective on songwriting and improvisation refreshing. It is just about getting the music out of your head and onto the fretboard.
