About Josiah

Kia ora, my name is Josiah Abbott - I am a Composer/Songwriter, Producer, Guitarist and Educator of all things music.

I have 25+ years as a performer, composer/songwriter, teacher and now producer (Mix + Mastering engineer).

I am a secondary trained school teacher and have post-graduate qualifications in music and teaching (BMusHons - 1st Class + Graddip Teaching/Sec).

I believe Music is a holistic learning subject, whereby, many other subjects can be understood through the interest and pursue of music study/practice.

Furthermore, I am a self-producing artist and composer with an EP and Musical currently in production.
