About Romy

For 18 years, I have been helping students discover their vocal potential and achieve success in music. I teach Singing to School students, College students, and Working Professionals, offering personalised lessons that cater to different skill levels and aspirations.

My teaching approach combines technical development, creativity, and confidence-building. I understand that each student has unique learning needs, so I adapt my teaching methods accordingly. My lessons are designed to make learning enjoyable while ensuring measurable progress.

My classes cover vocal warm-ups, breathing control, pitch accuracy, rhythm training, tone development, vocal expression, and stage performance. Through practical exercises, song interpretation, and performance-based learning, students gain valuable experience and improve their abilities. Regular assessments help maintain progress and motivation.

Besides Singing, I teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Performance, and Performance Skills. These related subjects help students gain a comprehensive understanding of music and become more well-rounded performers. I also provide guidance on practice techniques and vocal wellness.

I am passionate about helping students achieve their goals and build confidence in their abilities. My aim is to make every lesson inspiring, productive, and enjoyable while supporting long-term growth.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology for Singing is founded on flexibility, creativity, understanding, and effective time management. I believe that every student has a unique voice and learning journey. My goal is to provide personalised guidance that helps students build strong vocal skills, confidence, and a genuine passion for music.

I begin by evaluating each student's current abilities, musical interests, and personal goals. This helps me create customised lesson plans that support individual progress and long-term success. Whether students are beginners or experienced singers, I adapt my teaching methods to suit their needs.

Creativity is a key element of my lessons. I use engaging vocal exercises, song interpretation activities, listening tasks, and performance opportunities to make learning enjoyable and interactive. Students are encouraged to experiment with different musical styles and discover their own artistic identity.

My lessons focus on breath control, pitch accuracy, rhythm, diction, vocal tone, expression, and stage confidence. Through practical exercises and regular feedback, students steadily improve their technique and performance skills.

Understanding and patience allow me to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace.

Time management ensures that each lesson remains organised and productive. Sessions include warm-ups, technical training, song practice, and performance preparation.

Besides Singing, I can also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Vocal Health, Sight Singing, and Performance Skills. My objective is to help students become confident, expressive, and technically skilled singers.
