About Nicole
Hi, I’m Nicole, a Japanese tutor based in Melbourne, Australia. I started learning Japanese in primary school as an extracurricular activity through Kumon, where I won many awards for my progress. In high school, I had the chance to spend a year living in Japan as an exchange student in Aichi Prefecture. During my exchange, I finally passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 Level. After university, I returned to Japan as a JET Programme participant and lived and worked there for several years. Eventually, I returned to Australia to study graphic design. However, my love for Japan never faded, and I’m excited to share my knowledge of the language and culture by becoming a tutor.
