About Talya
Having completed nutrition studies in both New Zealand and Australia, I have developed a thorough understanding of complex scientific concepts and the challenges students face when learning them.
My extended academic journey has allowed me to refine effective study techniques, exam preparation strategies, and approaches to mastering difficult content. Alongside tutoring, I am currently contributing to a research project at Monash University, allowing me to remain actively engaged with scientific research and evidence-based practice.

Offering tutoring for VCE Biology, VCE Physical Education, and Years 1–3 Bachelor of Nutrition subjects. My areas of expertise include Nutritional Biochemistry, Physiology, Sports Nutrition, Nutrigenetics, and Food Science.
My teaching approach is hands-on and designed to build confidence and independent thinking. I begin by explaining key concepts clearly, then guide students through problems using targeted questions and hints.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes but can be tailored to individual needs.
My lessons are ideal for VCE students and undergraduate Nutrition students looking to strengthen their understanding of science-based subjects and improve academic performance.
