About Harry
Hi, I'm Harry.
I am 18 years of age and have finished my A-levels this academic year, predicted A*A*A in maths, physics and chemistry.
I am an Oxbridge applicant, expecting to attend a top worldwide University to undertake a degree in engineering.
Due to recently finishing my qualifications, i have a fresh understanding of how to tackle exams in the most efficient way possible alongside a detailed understanding of each course's most recent specification, providing you with mark scheme level explanations to help you achieve them top grades!

Achieving top grades is simple, and with my help you can get there. My lessons consist of 3 main ideas:
1. TARGETING areas of WEAKNESS/misconceptions - Rebuilding your understanding in new ways,which i have created whilst preparing for my own exams, which helps you think more freely to reduce this happening when learning new content.
2. Taking ADVANTAGE of modern TECHNOLOGY to trick your brain and make you an ACADEMIC SPONGE - Even when you scroll through social media, you can incorporate educational content within so you subconsciously absorb small but frequent pieces information, helping you remember key facts without trying.
3. PRACTICE makes PERFECT - Especially with STEM subjects, little but often goes a long way. Hammering exam questions and providing students with mark scheme quality explanations, especially in the latter stages of the academic year, REALLY makes a difference.
Lessons would usually be 50-60 mins - I try to stick to school scheduling so the student can be as efficient as possible and not out of routine (this is key over the long term).
I have only recently finished A-levels, yet i already have nearly 12 months experience as a Tutor, achieving the Gold award in The CoachBright Program for Success in mentoring students to facilitate improvements in their academic attitudes and achievements.
This is mainly because I have been in similar scenarios as my students only a few years prior, so I am familiar with the content and can easily have a great relationship with them due to smaller age gaps compared to other Tutors, who have sat their exams decades ago in a pre-pandemic world, and have less of an understanding of how to deal with the ongoing effects.
