About Remi

I am a Guitar tutor with 14 years of experience, and I have taught around 300 students across High School, College, and adult age groups. I love helping students build their skills while keeping the learning process simple and enjoyable.

My teaching philosophy is centered on guiding students at their own pace. I believe that every learner grows differently, so I adjust my lessons to match their comfort and goals. I focus on fundamentals such as chord switching, strumming methods, finger movements, and rhythm training. I also teach easy music theory so students understand scales and tune patterns.

A notable achievement in my journey is helping many shy learners become confident performers. Some of my students have participated in talent shows, small concerts, and college festivals. Seeing them perform with pride truly inspires me.

I keep my lessons relaxed, clear, and practical. Whether a student wants to play casually, perform on stage, or try new styles of music, I support their goals with patience and encouragement. My mission is to make guitar learning fun and meaningful for everyone.

About the lesson

My teaching approach for Guitar is built around strong communication, understanding each student’s learning style, and using real-life examples to make lessons meaningful. I believe that music should feel accessible and enjoyable, so I teach in simple, clear steps that help students progress naturally.

I start with essential skills such as posture, hand placement, chord knowledge, strumming control, and rhythm awareness. As students grow, I introduce scales, picking techniques, fingerstyle, improvisation, and tone shaping. I explain each concept with practical examples from different genres like pop, rock, blues, classical, and folk. I also present case studies showing how real musicians use these techniques to create their unique sound.

I also teach subjects related to Guitar, including Music Theory, Ear Training, Song Structure, Chord Progressions, Songwriting Basics, and Rhythm Studies. These subjects help students understand music more deeply and apply what they learn creatively.

Communication plays an important role in each session. I keep the environment supportive and friendly so students feel confident asking questions and sharing their goals. I adjust my teaching style depending on how the student learns—whether visually, through listening, or through hands-on practice.

Each lesson includes demonstrations, guided practice, feedback, and weekly goals. I help students develop healthy practice habits and understand their progress step by step. My main goal is to help students become skilled, confident, and creative guitar players who truly enjoy learning music.
