About Ra'eesah
I am a pharmacist with a first class MPharm degree and I enjoy imparting the knowledge I have gained during the course of my academic journey to others. I have provided tutoring for GCSE sciences including Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I identify where the student needed the greatest assistance and then using this in line with their target grades form tailored lessons for each session or topic. I look to synthesise information so that it is in a digestible form, suggest the use of diagrams to the student to present processes in a visual form and make use of questions to allow the student to apply their knowledge. I aim to convey the content to the students in a way that is clear, concise and understandable to them. My approach to the lessons is one where I want the student to feel comfortable to ask questions and clarify areas they do not understand. I have received positive feedback and it is great knowing that I am able to help a student grasp concepts that they had previously struggled with. Helping students is something I have naturally gravitated towards; recommending ways for them to structure their learning and suggesting ideas to them to make information more memorable. My background alongside my passion for wanting to equip students with the appropriate knowledge and tools to enhance their learning, as well as valuing the importance of creating an environment which inspires students to strive to reach and seize their potential, makes me well suited for being a tutor. I want to inspire my students and instil with them with confidence. I find it rewarding knowing my work has the potential to have a positive impact on individuals’ learning experience.
