About Amna
I hold an MPhil in Chemistry and have worked as both a chemistry lecturer and lab supervisor, giving me real experience explaining concepts to students at different levels. My research background is in nanomaterials synthesis and electrochemistry, so I bring genuine hands-on lab experience alongside the theory. Outside tutoring, I'm currently continuing my own path in chemistry and enjoy helping others build the same confidence in the subject that I've had to build myself.

My lessons combine clear explanations with a strong focus on exam technique, drawing on my experience lecturing and supervising undergraduate labs. I start by identifying exactly where a student is struggling, then rebuild that concept step by step using worked examples and past-paper style questions. I encourage students to explain their own reasoning rather than just following mine, since that's what actually makes understanding stick under exam conditions. Sessions are relaxed but focused, and I adapt pace and depth to each student's confidence level.
