About Jake
Hello, I am a dedicated Chemistry instructor with a BA in Chemistry and over eight years of teaching experience. I work with school and university students who want to understand chemistry in a clear and meaningful way. My teaching focuses on building strong conceptual foundations through logical reasoning and visual learning.
I specialize in explaining quantum chemistry concepts using simple visual models and structured explanations. Students learn how atomic orbitals shape the behavior of electrons and influence chemical properties. I also guide learners in understanding bonding frameworks and how atoms combine to form stable molecules. These ideas become clearer through diagrams, step-by-step reasoning, and interactive discussions.
Another important part of my teaching includes introducing spectroscopy and how scientists study molecules through light and energy interactions. My teaching approach in Chemistry focuses on building strong conceptual understanding and curiosity about how matter works.
