About Serena

I am a Chemistry tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Chemistry. My passion lies in making complex topics in quantum chemistry clear and engaging for university students. I believe that even the most abstract concepts can be understood when explained with the right balance of theory and illustration. About the lesson

My teaching approach in Chemistry is centred on nurturing curiosity and building strong, personalised understanding. I also support learners from different backgrounds, including those with interests in fields like wildlife photography and medical technology, by showing them chemistry’s deep connections with sustainability and health. My role is to guide them step by step, while making the subject both clear and motivating. By the end of each lesson, students gain confidence, clarity, and a new perspective on chemistry as a force for good.
