About Jeffrey Hamlin
My name is Jeffrey Hamlin and I am passionate about helping students unlock their full potential in math, aptitude and coding. I enjoy breaking down challenging topics into clear, simple explanations that make learning approachable and engaging. As an MSc Computer Science student at Trinity College Dublin, I understand firsthand what works and what doesn’t in learning. Being a student myself allows me to relate to the challenges students face and adapt my teaching to meet their individual needs. I aim to inspire confidence by creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. My goal is to help them build skills, gain confidence, and achieve their academic ambitions.

I focus on building strong fundamentals by breaking down complex concepts into simple, practical steps. My lessons are interactive and personalised, with problem-solving exercises and real-world examples to help students gain confidence. A typical session lasts one hour but I adjust based on the student’s pace and needs.
I am Jeffrey Hamlin, an MSc Computer Science student at Trinity College Dublin with a background in software engineering and data science. I have experience tutoring secondary and undergraduate students in maths, aptitude, and coding.
My lessons are ideal for secondary school students preparing for exams, college students needing extra support, or anyone looking to strengthen problem-solving and programming skills.
