About Gokulavani
Hello! I’m Gokulavani, a passionate and dedicated tutor with a strong academic background in Agriculture, Biology, and Environmental Science. I hold a First-Class BSc in Agriculture, awarded with a Gold Medal, and a Distinction in my MSc in Agriculture and Development from the University of Reading. With hands-on experience as a Research Fellow in the UK, I bring deep practical knowledge of real-world challenges in plant science, sustainability, and food systems into my lessons. I’ve worked on cutting-edge research in climate-resilient crops, crop physiology, and agricultural production—experience that allows me to make science come alive for my students. My goal is to share not just knowledge, but curiosity, clarity, and confidence. As a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor, I combine academic expertise with a practical, student-focused approach to learning. Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with flexibility to extend if needed. I focus on active learning, encouraging questions, discussion, and regular assessment to track progress and address gaps. With an MSc in Agriculture and Development (Distinction) from the University of Reading and a First-Class BSc in Agriculture, I bring both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience from laboratory and field research. My background includes working with crop physiology, plant science, and sustainability—topics that align closely with current GCSE and A-Level syllabi.
