About Shaan
I’m a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Theoretical Physics. I specialize in making complex ideas in acoustics and sound physics engaging and easy to understand. One of my favorite teaching methods involves using real-time audio experiments and wave visualizations to help students “see” and “hear” the science in action. I have a deep passion for exploring the physics of music—how sound is produced, how resonance shapes tone, and how musical scales are formed. Whether we're analyzing a violin string or designing a digital synthesizer, I bring theory to life through practical, creative lessons. I also dive into the structure and function of musical instruments, helping students appreciate the physics behind what they play or listen to. I enjoy showing how scientific principles connect deeply with the art of sound and music. My sessions are interactive, thoughtful, and tailored to both curious beginners and advanced learners. My teaching approach in physics is relaxed, practical, and focused on real-world applications. I believe students learn best when they see how physics works in everyday engineering problems. That’s why I integrate topics like materials science, fluid dynamics, and structural mechanics into my lessons. I also include statics and dynamics, helping students understand the forces and motion behind machines, bridges, and buildings.
Instead of memorizing formulas, I encourage students to visualize concepts through examples from engineering and design. I often use case studies from fields like aerospace, mechanical, and civil engineering to explain ideas clearly. Lessons are interactive and tailored to the student's goals—whether it's exam success, project support, or job readiness. I keep the sessions engaging, using diagrams, simulations, and discussions.
As a physics teacher and computational physicist, I guide students in applying theory to solve practical problems. I help them use physics to build smarter, safer, and more efficient systems. My students grow confident in analyzing real designs and making decisions backed by science. They gain skills not just to pass exams, but to excel in their engineering careers. My aim is to make physics a powerful tool in their academic and professional journey.
