About Faith
I am a Physics tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and an MPhil in Physics. I specialize in helping students understand both foundational and advanced concepts in physics with clarity and confidence. My core expertise lies in particle physics and the Standard Model, where I guide learners through some of the most fascinating ideas about matter and energy. I focus on building strong conceptual understanding rather than memorization. My teaching approach uses visual explanations, simple models, and step-by-step reasoning to make complex topics easier to grasp.
I also connect abstract theories to real-world physics so students can see how fundamental particles shape everything around us. My teaching approach in Physics is gentle, structured, and focused on deep understanding through real scientific thinking. I help students build strong foundations in core topics such as mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, optics, quantum physics, and astrophysics. Along with theory, I strongly emphasize experimental design and how scientific investigations are planned step by step. Students are guided to understand data analysis, error calculation, and error propagation in a clear and practical way. I also train learners in scientific reporting, including how to present observations, write lab reports, and interpret results accurately.
My sessions encourage curiosity-driven learning where students ask questions and explore concepts beyond textbooks. I use real-life examples and simple experiments to connect abstract ideas with physical reality. Special focus is given to developing a careful and reflective approach to problem solving. I encourage learners to think like young scientists and develop their own methods of investigation. This helps them gain confidence in handling both theoretical and experimental challenges.
I also support students in improving their analytical and reasoning skills for exams and laboratory work. Step-by-step explanations and guided practice ensure clarity in complex topics. My teaching style is patient and adaptable, allowing each learner to progress at their own pace. The goal is to help students discover a confident and independent approach to physics, where learning becomes a process of exploration and discovery.
