About Stella
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MPhil in Physics, with a special focus on the intersection of physics, art, and restoration. My approach is holistic and interdisciplinary, showing students how scientific principles can reveal the hidden stories within cultural heritage. I specialize in the study of light interaction with pigments, material analysis, and the applications of conservation science. These fields open a window into understanding how art ages, how colors shift, and how restoration can be guided with precision and care. In my teaching, I use art historical examples that connect physics with visual culture. This allows students to see how the science of optics, materials, and physical properties enriches the study of art. I also emphasize non-destructive testing principles, which are essential for working responsibly with valuable and delicate works. Over the years, I have worked with art history students, conservationists, and anyone eager to explore the science behind artistic masterpieces. Many of them have found that physics provides a fresh, exciting way to approach the humanities. My lessons combine technical knowledge with accessible explanations, making complex concepts approachable without losing their depth. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and the joy of discovering how art and science meet. Above all, my goal is to help learners apply physics not just as equations, but as a tool to preserve and understand the beauty of cultural heritage. My teaching approach in Physics is built on clarity, patience, and active engagement with every concept. I believe that the best way to learn is through careful listening, phonetic accuracy, and plenty of repetition, so that ideas truly settle in the mind.
Alongside core physics, I introduce students to exciting areas like astronomy, celestial mechanics, cosmology basics, and the principles behind space exploration. These subjects not only spark curiosity but also help learners see physics as a living science, deeply connected to the universe around us.
I break down complex theories into smaller, understandable steps, making it easier for students to grasp and remember. Whether we are discussing orbital paths or the expansion of the cosmos, the focus is always on building strong foundations.
Each learner has a different way of connecting with physics, and I support them in finding the method that works best for their growth. By encouraging questions and repeated practice, I make sure they develop both confidence and accuracy in expressing their ideas.
My goal is to refine understanding and guide learners toward mastering both the technical details and the wonder of cosmic exploration. Over time, they grow not only in knowledge but also in their ability to think critically about the universe.
With this approach, students gain the tools they need to succeed in exams, assignments, and beyond. Most importantly, they leave with the confidence to discuss the mysteries of the cosmos with clarity and enthusiasm.
