About Lucy
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Astrophysics. My passion for the subject goes beyond equations—I am deeply fascinated by the history of physics and the bold experiments that shaped our understanding of the universe. From Galileo’s simple yet revolutionary experiments on motion to Newton’s elegant laws that explained the mechanics of the heavens and Earth, I love exploring how ideas transformed into timeless principles. I also admire Maxwell’s unifying equations that revealed the harmony of electricity and magnetism, and the quantum discoveries that redefined reality itself. These stories of discovery show how science is not only about knowledge but also about courage and creativity. In my teaching, I guide students to appreciate not just the answers but the scientific method behind them. I encourage them to see the bravery it took for scientists to challenge convention and imagine possibilities beyond the known. This approach makes learning Physics a journey of both understanding and inspiration. Together, we won’t just solve problems—we will step into the shoes of thinkers who changed the world. My teaching approach in Physics focuses on building strong conceptual understanding first. I believe students learn best when they can clearly connect theory with real-world applications. I make complex ideas simple by using everyday examples that bring topics like Newtonian mechanics, forces and motion, and energy conservation to life. I also cover advanced areas such as thermodynamics, nuclear physics, astrophysics, and quantitative physics. Every lesson combines clear explanations with problem-solving practice so students can apply laws of Physics with confidence. I encourage asking questions and active discussions to make sure concepts are truly understood, not just memorized. Practical problem-solving is central to my sessions. I help students analyze problems step by step using fundamental laws, guiding them to find solutions logically and independently. This way, they not only prepare for exams and assignments but also develop skills to handle new challenges. I work well with different learning styles—whether someone is more of a career re-aligner looking for clarity or a theorist who loves deep exploration. Each student receives dedicated support, encouragement, and feedback to grow steadily. With this approach, students gain more than exam readiness. They develop confidence, clarity, and the ability to see how the mechanics of the world truly work.
