About Frances
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Physics. My focus is plasma physics and fusion energy research. My teaching style focuses on building strong foundations in Physics. I cover Mechanics, Electricity & Magnetism, Thermodynamics, Quantum Physics, and Waves. I emphasize the link between Physics and Math. Using targeted drills and practice tests, students learn to approach questions logically. Each session reviews core concepts, explains formulas, and applies them in real-world scenarios. Problem-solving is key, and I guide students step by step. Exam strategy is integrated: time management, elimination techniques, and structured answers. I also tailor methods to AP Physics preparation. Being analytical and a sci-fi fan, I make lessons engaging and relatable. I motivate students to explore ideas creatively. Confidence building is central to every class. By practicing consistently, students achieve higher scores. My goal is to make Physics accessible, exciting, and rewarding.
