About Zara
I am a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and hold an MPhil in Physics. My approach is holistic and interdisciplinary, blending physics with art and restoration. I focus on how light interacts with pigments, material analysis, and conservation science. This includes exploring the physical properties of art materials and applying non-destructive testing principles. I use art historical examples to make complex physics concepts clear and relatable. My work often involves guiding art history students, conservationists, and anyone curious about the science behind cultural heritage. I help them connect physics to real-world applications in preserving artistic treasures. Lessons are tailored to foster both scientific understanding and artistic appreciation. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving in every session. Together, we explore how physics not only explains art but also protects it for future generations. I also cover related subjects like Mechanics, Electromagnetism, Waves, and Modern Physics to give students a strong foundation. Lessons include targeted drills and practice tests to sharpen understanding and improve speed. I explain concepts step-by-step so students feel confident tackling even difficult problems. Maths skills are integrated naturally into lessons, ensuring calculations and formulae make sense. I also incorporate real-life examples and fun Sci-Fi references to make learning engaging. I create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions freely. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s needs and learning style. My goal is to prepare students thoroughly for high scores and exams with less stress. I guide them to improve not just knowledge, but also exam confidence. Success is built through practice, understanding, and the right strategies. Together, we work towards excellence in Physics.
