About Myra
I’m a Physics tutor with over 4 years of experience and an MSc in Nuclear Physics. My teaching goes beyond textbooks—I integrate geophysics and earth sciences to make physics meaningful and connected to the real world. I guide students in exploring topics like plate tectonics, seismic waves, and climate physics through the lens of physical principles. By combining physics with data analysis and modelling, I help learners understand the Earth's structure, atmospheric dynamics, and geological processes. These lessons are especially valuable for students interested in environmental science or planetary studies. I use real-world case studies and visual simulations to bring abstract ideas to life. My sessions focus on critical thinking, scientific reasoning, and exploring how forces and energy shape our planet. My teaching approach in Physics is systematic, clear, and designed to make complex ideas easier to understand. I focus on building a strong foundation in core principles through step-by-step lessons that explain how the physical world works. Whether it's thermodynamics, heat transfer, states of matter, or gas laws, I break down the topics into simple and connected parts. I help students connect what they learn to real-world applications, which makes lessons both practical and engaging. We explore the macroscopic behaviours of matter and energy, using visual tools, hands-on explanations, and examples from everyday life. My teaching style supports learners who enjoy building, exploring, or understanding how things work deeply. I give regular and helpful feedback so students know what they’ve mastered and where they can improve. I make sure they understand the ‘why’ behind every concept, not just the formula. Lessons are paced to suit each student’s learning style and curiosity. I encourage questions, foster curiosity, and create a space where no idea is too small to explore. Together, we will develop a strong, lasting understanding of energy and the laws that shape the universe. My goal is to help students not just pass exams, but truly enjoy learning physics.
