About JJ
Hello! My name is Jason, and I am a University Student currently studying Music. I have had 7 years of experience with Drumming, including live performance and professional studio recordings with the likes of Derrick McKenzie. I am also a self-taught guitarist, and I have been studying Music Theory for the past 4 years. I also play other instruments, such as Bass and Piano, and have years of experience with production and songwriting.

My techniques and teaching methods are, in short, bitesized! With my simple and concise explanations, I hope to make Music Theory as palatable as it is daunting. I also appreciate that some learners don't soak in information the traditional way, so I like to include eye-catching visual presentations and audio. This goes for people who suffer from mental illnesses, I like to make my lessons accommodating (for example, someone with anxiety may use a text chat function to ask questions rather than speaking!).
I am teaching teenagers at beginner to intermediate level, who are aspiring musicians/songwriters that have a passion for what they do.
