About Monique

I love teaching because I’ve seen firsthand how the right support can transform confusion into confidence and "I can't" into real achievement. For me, it's about sparking that curiosity and independence—watching a student grasp a tricky concept or ace an exam isn't just rewarding, it's why I do this. My own journey through these subjects taught me the value of patient, personalised guidance, and now I want to pass that on, creating a supportive space where every student thrives at their own pace. Whether you're aiming to boost grades, build skills, or simply enjoy learning, I'm here to make it happen with enthusiasm and expertise.

About the lesson

I believe every student learns differently, so my lessons are always tailored to the individual. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all method, I take the time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, goals, and learning style so I can build lessons that are clear, supportive, and effective.

My approach is patient, encouraging, and structured. I aim to make difficult topics feel manageable by breaking them down into simple steps, checking understanding as we go, and building confidence through regular practice. Whether a student needs help catching up, preparing for exams, or pushing towards top grades, I create lessons that are focused and productive while still feeling approachable and engaging.

I tutor Chemistry, English, History and Maths at all levels, and I always adapt my teaching to the student’s level and pace. My goal is not just to help students improve their marks, but also to help them become more independent, motivated, and confident in their own abilities.

I’m committed to creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress without pressure. Every lesson is designed to be useful, supportive, and aligned with what the student needs most
