I am a B.Ed qualified IB/IGCSE/State Board English teacher with State Board experience for Classes 6–12. I teach English & Social Science using exam-focused, structured methods. My Approach as a Teacher
I make English and Social Science simple, structured, and exam-focused. No rote learning. I break tough topics into clear steps so students think better, write better, and score better with confidence.My Teaching Techniques and Methods Concept First, Then Exam – We understand the “why” before tackling “how to write answers.” Rubric-Aligned Practice – For IB/IGCSE I use exact criteria. For CBSE/ICSE/State Boards I follow marking schemes so answers hit the keywords. Model + Guided + Independent – I demo, we practice together, then you try timed. Visual + Keywords – Mind maps for Social Science, annotation drills for English. Easy to recall in exams. Usual Structure of a Class – 60 mins 0–5 min: Quick recap + today’s target 5–25 min: Concept explain + model answer demo 25–50 min: Guided writing/Q&A with live feedback 50–60 min: Timed task + 3 takeaways + focused homework My Special Features as a Teacher IB/IGCSE TA + B.Ed – I know international rubrics and Indian pedagogy. State Board Experience – Taught English & Social Science for classes 6–10 across CBSE/ICSE/Assam + other state boards. Dual Subject Strength – English for skills, Social Science for content mastery.
