About Austin
I am an Orchestra Teacher with a background in Jazz, Electric Bass, and Double Bass. I have been teaching in the general classroom for 3 years but have been teaching private students for close to 8 years. I play in a variety of bands and I am usually gigging 4-5 times a month.

I teach to every student individually depending on what your goals are. Music basics are essential for all musicians on all instruments but you can work on these concepts while exploring any genre. Learning full songs are essential and it is important to understand what is going on behind the song.
