About Haydn

My name is Haydn and I'm an aspiring Musician and Artist from Gloucestershire. I am a self-taught Guitarist specialising in Acoustic with a decade's worth of experience in songwriting, performing and producing in non-professional settings. I have Bachelor's Degree in Popular Music at the University of Gloucestershire, excelling in Songwriting, Music Production, Events Coordination and Performance modules.

I am neurodivergent (diagnosed ADHD) and have always struggled in educational settings; it took me a long time to learn Guitar and often felt discouraged by the tuition experiences I had, however once I learned the basics and began writing my own songs, I fell in love with it. I am now eager to help others past the initial pains of learning the instrument and share the passion I have with others. I want to show there is not just one way to learn Guitar and it is nowhere as daunting as it seems!

About the lesson

Guitar lessons for 18+ individuals with no experience.

It's never too late to pick up Guitar, but it can be difficult finding the time and confidence to begin. I am here to show that anyone no matter what age can learn to play and can pick up the basics in no time!

My lessons can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour to fit around anyone's busy schedule. The main goal of my lessons will be to set you up with all of the essential and most basic components of playing the Guitar and set you to expand on this knowledge moving forward.

As someone who is neurodivergent (diagnosed ADHD) and is a kinaesthetic learner, I understand not everyone learns the same and so we will work to find how best to teach you/what works best for you.

We will learn the set up of the Guitar, tablature, essential chords and basic scales, tunings, plucking and strumming, and all other vital pieces of information allowing you to feel confident to learn, write and play independently.
