About Babatunde

Hello, I’m Fowosire Babatunde Adewunmi, a music graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, with a Bachelor’s degree in Music.

Music has been my discipline as well as my passion. I play bass guitar, violin and piano, and at university I served as bass sectional leader. That role taught me how to prepare a group, correct mistakes patiently, and help people with different skill levels play well together. I have also written, recorded, mixed and mastered an eight-track Afro music project, so I understand music from the first idea to the finished product. I work comfortably with notation software like MuseScore and Sibelius and production tools like FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro and Pro Tools, so what I teach connects to how music is actually made today.

I want to teach because I remember how it feels to be unsure at the start, and how much one patient, encouraging teacher can change that. My goal is for every student to leave each lesson knowing more, playing better, and believing they can keep improving.

In my lessons, you can expect preparation, punctuality, clear goals, honest feedback and respect for your pace. You don’t need to be talented to begin. You only need to be willing, and I’ll guide you from there.

About the lesson

Teaching Techniques and Methodology

As a music graduate, I use a patient, practical, and student-centered approach to teaching. My lessons combine music theory with practical exercises to help students develop their musical skills, confidence, creativity, and understanding of music. I adapt my teaching methods to suit each student's learning pace and individual needs, making lessons engaging, interactive, and enjoyable.

Typical Length of a Lesson

Each lesson lasts between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the student's level, learning needs, and progress.

I am a music graduate with a passion for teaching and helping students develop their musical abilities. My academic background in music provides me with a solid foundation to guide students in building their skills and understanding of music.

My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners aged 5 and above. Whether you are a young learner starting your musical journey or someone looking to improve existing skills, I provide supportive and structured lessons to help you progress at your own pace.
