About Tamlyn

Hi, I am a music graduate and musician who's passionate about sharing my love of music with others. I've taught dozens of kids music theory and recorder, and I love seeing them grow and learn. As someone who's struggled with learning concepts in the past, I understand how challenging it can be. But I believe that with hard work and dedication, anyone can learn and enjoy music. My approach is all about making learning fun and accessible, and I strive to create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new ideas. I'm not here to make you the smartest kid in class, but to help you grow and learn at your own pace. Let's make learning music a positive and enjoyable experience together!

About the lesson

My lessons are unique because I'll connect with you on a personal level, creating a comfortable space where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. I'm a friendly, enthusiastic tutor who wants to support and encourage you, not intimidate. I'll get to know you, so you can relax and be yourself, mistakes and all!
