"How does it feel to finally nail that tricky flamenco riff you have been listening to for weeks? I assess your current level during a free trial session to ensure we start exactly where you need. From there, we map out a path covering everything from basic tuning to sophisticated songwriting techniques. Learning with me feels like a jam session with a friend. I draw on my university degree to break down music theory into manageable, rhythmic concepts. We tackle electric technique and grade exam requirements without losing that sense of joy. "Walking into your lounge room with my guitar case feels just like visiting family. Having earned a BA in Music and Spanish from the University of Melbourne, I combine academic training with a deep cultural appreciation for the instrument. I have spent 13 years guiding students through the complexities of electric technique and blues progressions. My teaching style is energetic and playful, reflecting my background as a native Spanish speaker. I enjoy working with kids, adults, and those prepping for specific grade exams. Over my career, I have supported countless musicians in finding their unique voice. Writing songs and mastering complex scales becomes a fun, shared adventure rather than a chore. Whether you are picking up a guitar for the first time or refining your maintenance skills, I am here to help you progress."
