About Adam
My passion for music education started when I was a student myself. I taught a group of cellists in a junior ensemble and realised how much I enjoyed the process of breaking down a difficult passage and seeing them improve with it.
From then on I wanted to be a music teacher and aspired to be like the music teachers who taught me.
I went on to study music at school and university whilst having students of my own.
After graduating, I started my official career by starting a job at the same music service I was apart of as a student and have been thoroughly enjoying it ever since.

I am a music graduate with 1st class honours and currently work as a peripatetic teacher for music services.
My approach to lessons is based around improving the understanding of the music students play with regard to theory and rhythm.
I believe that combining this with technique can make students more independent outside of lessons.
I offer 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons for students of all ages beginner- advanced.
