About Gareth
I adopt a relaxed and friendly approach to teaching music.
I believe students make the best progress when they are encouraged rather than forced to play an instrument. I make the lessons fun and also ensure the student acquires the necessary skills and knowledge to make them a competent, creative player.

Hi there,
I teach piano, keyboard, church organ, classical guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo, and ukulele.
I can prep you for graded exams or teach you to play for fun.
I cater to multiple styles, including Classical, Metal, Rock, Pop, Trad etc.
I'm fully qualified (B.Mus.Ed, A.R.I.A.M., Dip.Mus), have over twenty years of teaching experience, and am happy to provide references.
I work with both children and adults.
I also offer L.C./J.C. Music grinds.
Lessons are normally 30 mins long unless student is at a high grade, in which case 45 or 60 min may be more suitable. Price is adjusted accordingly. I also work on a term basis, but am happy to do a few weekly lesson first to make sure student is enjoying them.
