About Omphile

My name is Kesaobaka Omphile Segau but I am professionally known as Koss. I am a broadcaster, content creator, voiceover artist, singer songwriter and a musical and creative director at Massiv Metro and Homegrown Radio.

I started taking music as a subject, writing and recording music when I was 15 (2014) at Prestige Collage. Then I went to AFDA where I did Live Performance but majored in Music Performance resulting in me graduating with a BA in Live Performance.

I after did a radio course called I WAS BORN TO SPEAK ON RADIO. And that is how I ended up at Massiv Metro.

Right now I incorporate everything I learned in school in my daily life. So with me you can learn more than just music.

My interest in teaching began when I was musically directing a song for Homegrown Radio. I was working with people that had never done music before, so not only was I directing the song, I was teaching. And ironically after that people randomly send me their stuff and I help them improve them.

I host a show on Massive Metro every Saturday from 12h00 - 15h00. Give it a listen.

About the lesson

If you are new to music theory then I am your guy. I will be teaching grade 1 - 8 music theory online.

My goal is for us to move to a new topic every two weeks and on the last day on of the two weeks we write a test to check your progress on the topic and once we have reached four topics, we have a mini exam to check if you can incorporate everything you have learned

The same method applies to Songwriting, the only difference is that with this one, you will have to show your skills on an instrumental and we will include some singing lessons here too.
