About Christopher
Chris is a London-raised, Chicago-based music producer, DJ, electronic artist, and composer, whose sound sits between minimal/deep techno, and deep house. His sets and music releases lean into rich textures, evolving rhythms, and hypnotic motifs, building immersive journeys that slowly tighten their grip on the floor. In both full-club settings and intimate DJ-focused venues, his mixes have a distinct emotional pull, turning rooms into spaces where people stay locked in rather than just pass through.
Lazy love's 2019 Here We Go and 2020 Just That EPs on Cue (Germany) and Habits Records (UK) introduced his sound to Beatport’s underground audience, leaning into stripped-back minimal and deep tech and helping secure features on Beatport Hype as well as a shortlist placement in Best New Minimal/Deep Tech. That momentum was reinforced by appearances on multiple international compilations, including BRLN Underground Vol. 29 (Variety Music), The Underground Sound of Ibiza Vol. 21, and Underground Musique Vol. 51 (Recovery Tech, among others), positioning him as a versatile producer who can live comfortably across different shades of techno and house.
In December 2025, Lazy love released “Sun Behind the Cloud” track on a highly respected Traum Schallplatten’s Tour de Traum 30 compilation, pushing his sound further into melodic house / deep techno territory. The track’s blend of indie-leaning textures, deep evolving grooves, and emotional weight has already earned plays on KISS FM Australia and support from WRCT 88.3FM in the US, where it was singled out as a standout cut on the release. That same palette now anchors his current DJ mixes alongside carefully selected minimal/deep tech and textural tracks to create immersive sets.
Beyond his techno and house releases, Lazy love has a substantial professional studio experience. He has composed and produced music for major TV networks such as the BBC, Channel 4, and Netflix, including work on BAFTA-winning TV shows like The Island with Bear Grylls. He has collaborated with electronic, indie, and alt-pop artists, handling everything from arrangement and live instrumentation to drum programming, synthesis, sound design, and mixing. That blend of creative vision and technical discipline carries directly into his DJ style: sonically polished, emotionally charged, and flexible enough to handle warm-ups, peak-time slots, closing, and radio shows with the same level of detail and intent.

Each lesson is unique to accommodate the goals and interests of each student. I have experience in a variety of musical genres both writing and producing. I especially have a focused interest in electronic music. I often work through students' current projects with them to help them achieve understanding of the music production process, whilst elevating what they have an interest in doing.
