About Maddy
I’m a lifelong musician and dancer, and music has been part of me since childhood. I started playing drums at 13, picked up bass guitar soon after, and performed in bands and gigs. Now, I’m a college student studying music production and creating my own music. I’m excited to share my passion and experience with young learners!

My Approach as a Music Tutor
I believe learning music should be fun, interactive, and inspiring. As a music production student, I combine creativity with solid musical fundamentals to help young learners develop a deep love and understanding of music.
Teaching Method and Techniques:
I focus on discovery and active listening, guiding students to explore different artists and songs while identifying specific notes, instruments, rhythms, and beats. This builds their ear and musical awareness naturally. We practice rhythm and counting through engaging listening exercises and games.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Each lesson includes a mix of listening activities where students identify sounds and patterns, followed by hands-on creative assignments. Kids get to craft their own simple instruments from everyday materials and experiment with songwriting, encouraging them to express their unique musical ideas.
What Sets Me Apart:
I bring my background in music production to provide a modern, creative approach that goes beyond traditional music lessons. My lessons emphasize creativity and self-expression, making learning personal and fun. I’m patient, encouraging, and tailor lessons to each child’s pace and interests.
