About Karine

For the majority of my life I have worked professionally as a musician in a variety of settings, including live performances, touring and live recordings for the BBC, in addition to music ministry. I've had the privilege of working closely with a range of artists, bands, churches and music projects.

I'm an experienced private music teacher with a passion for helping students grow in confidence and ability, whether you're picking up an instrument for the very first time or preparing for graded exams.

Whether you're learning for enjoyment, preparing for graded exams, developing your performance skills or hoping to pursue music professionally, I tailor each lesson to your individual goals. My aim is to help every student build confidence, strong musical foundations, and genuine enjoyment of making music in a relaxed and supportive environment.

About the lesson

My teaching style is patient, encouraging and tailored to each student's goal and learning pace. I believe music should be enjoyable while building strong technique, confidence and creativity.

Over the years, I've helped students achieve excellent exam results in ABRSM (every student has passed with distinction), while also supporting those who simply want to enjoy making music.
