Musica teacher for over 20 years, I have worked in all segments of music education, helping students of all ages and levels to achieve their musical goals. Many of these students became professionals, having entered College music courses in the most respected institutions of the Country.

My way of working always comes from the student, from him to me, not the other way around. The subject of the lessons always results from a dialogue, a discussion between the two poles-clientele and teacher. Students naturally do not ask at first. So the problem is how to motivate them, creating a situation of controversy that interests them or simply starting from the musical practice. This practice has to be refreshing. So improvisation with all the elements that might sound is best. (H.-J. Koellreutter, apud Brito, 1997, p.134)
