About Nathan
I am a pianist, flautist and guitarist with over 4 years’ experience in teaching my instruments. I enter new students into exams every new period, if they wish to take exams. In my time I have taught plenty of students Grade 5 Theory (all passing first time!) and helped all of my GCSE students with their Music GCSE performances and set works. I would love to teach you how to get the most out of your music lessons and how to get better quicker by practicing efficiently!
I have lots of experience playing in ensemble groups, and am available to accompany other instrumental exams if necessary. Always accepting new students!

I like to let my students take the lessons in the direction that suits them for what they need at the moment. I believe I have enough experience to ask the right questions at the right time and to push them far enough out of their comfort zone to progress, but not so much that they become overwhelmed by the learning process.
With me as your tutor, you can expect a deep understanding of music ranging across an entire spectrum, from classical piano to modern flute music, to composing micro-symphonies. I hope you will enjoy learning as much as I do teaching!
