About Lily
My teaching methodology is built on accountability, creativity, and communication, ensuring every student has a clear, enjoyable, and productive learning experience. I believe that consistent progress comes from setting achievable goals and holding students accountable for their practice while celebrating their milestones. I encourage students to explore their unique musical voice through improvisation, composition, and understanding the art behind every piece they play. This not only enhances their technical skills but also nurtures their love for music. Clear communication is essential in building trust and confidence. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s needs, explaining complex ideas in a simple way and fostering an open, supportive environment for questions and discussions. In addition to piano, I teach music theory, composition, and performance techniques, offering a comprehensive understanding of music. My approach combines structured learning with creative freedom, ensuring students gain both technical mastery and artistic expression. Together, we’ll unlock your full musical potential!
